Ancillary Staff SIG Update

interior-hero

The PCICS OT/PT/ST/Child Life Specialist SIG aims to provide an open forum for networking and collaboration among pediatric cardiac ICU and acute care ancillary staff. The goals of the SIG include:

  • Establishing relationships with therapists from multiple institutions across the country.
  • Discussing the most up to date evidence-based practice through journal reviews.
  • Discussing and creation of QI projects to encourage standard of practice.
  • Creating educational materials and guidelines for therapists.
  • Including therapy-focused topics in upcoming PCICS Annual Meetings.

We are always working to expand our group. The SIG meets the first Thursday of every month. Please spread the word! For more information on how to become involved in the OT/PT/OT/CLS SIG, please contact Mandana (Fisher) O’Donnell.

Thank you!
