Louise Callow RN, MSN, CPNP has been a Cardiac Surgery Nurse Practitioner since 1987 at CS Mott Children’s Hospital, Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She has experience in the care of congenital heart patients following cardiac surgery in acute and critical care, outpatient cardiology patients including electrophysiology patients, and nurse manager of the Pediatric Cardia ICU. She has spoken and published in multiple areas of postoperative care both nationally and internationally. She participated in the development of the PCICS Nursing Special Interest Groups and the Advanced Practice Provider Curriculum. She represents the CS Mott Congenital Heart Center in the NPC-QIC consortium and surgical learning lab. She is a PCICS board member and active on the Education and SIG committees. She is also board member of the Society of Pediatric Cardiovascular Nurses.
