Connections Committee – Provides input and oversight of the website, social media, podcasts, newsletter, membership recruitment and retention, and collaborative relationships with journals and other societies.
Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Committee – Evaluates PCICS current membership and leadership demographics and informs the work of the Board of Directions and all other PCICS committees to build equity and justice within the Society.
Education Committee – Identifies and develops resources and delivery modalities to address the educational needs of the membership.
International Committee – Facilitates education, resource-sharing, training, and mentoring for pediatric cardiac ICU services in international settings, particularly in low- to middle-income countries.
Program Committee – Develops content and structure of the PCICS Annual International Meeting in even years, and provides support to meeting host in odd years.
Quality Improvement & Safety (QI-S) Committee – Ensures pediatric cardiac intensive care quality issues and practices are represented in PCICS programs and resources.
Research Committee – Develops, promotes, and recommends PCICS research activities
The following criteria will be considered when reviewing volunteers for PCICS committees:
- The individual must be an active member in good standing (dues paid).
- A short biography (1000 characters maximum), previous contributions to PCICS, and a CV must be submitted for review and consideration by the Committee Co-Chairs
