Connections Committee May 2021 Update

The Connections Committee has welcomed several new members this year: Francis Kim, Meghna Patel, Robyn Puente, Kriti Puri, Claire Rizk, Vamsi Yarlagadda, Matthew Pizzuto and Amy Romer. We are looking forward to the excitement and new ideas each new member brings. We have also had a few new leaders step up to lead the Podcast and Newsletter subcommittees.

Many thanks to fellow Connections Committee co-chair, David Werho, for his leadership and tireless efforts as Editor-In-Chief of the PCICS Newsletter since the first edition published Summer 2017, as he leaves the Newsletter in the extremely capable hands of the new Editor-In-Chief, Ivie Esangbedo. He is also the creator and executive producer of the PCICS Podcast, and under his leadership, the podcasting subcommittee has produced and published 35 podcasts so far, with many more in the works. The podcasting subcommittee will add two new lead producers, Saidie Rodriguez and Deanna Tzanetos to help expand the breadth, scope, and offerings for our future podcasts.

We are also incredibly grateful for all the hard work Sarah Tabbutt has contributed as a founding member of the Connections Committee and as the leader of the website committee for many years. We are actively in the process of planning for new leadership opportunities on the website subcommittee to help Sarah transition this role to Jill Zender as an interim leader, as our new committee members are onboarded.

We had many exciting accomplishments as a committee in 2020 and we are ready to raise the bar in 2021!
