With the growth of the subspecialty\, the Society has grown in scope and outreach as well. International meetings have become forums for the exchange of scientific ideas\, promotion of collaboration\, and expansion of inter-professional care delivery. Today PCICS’ more than 1000 members represent the interdisciplinary pediatric cardiac critical care team in nearly 30 countries. \nThis collaboration with the 28th Brazilian Congress of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiovascular Surgery is an exciting opportunity for PCICS and we are thrilled to further pursue our mission for international expansion so that our membership represents a truly global community of pediatric cardiac critical care clinicians. PCICS recognizes that the education and clinical practice needs throughout the world are diverse; therefore\, international chapters are necessary to specifically address the needs in different geographic areas and provide resources for our members that are more accessible. As part of this collaboration\, we will be developing the first international chapter of PCICS in Latin America. \n \n \n  \n\n\n\n\n\nCBCCCP 2025
