Research and Improvement Science Excellence (RAISE) Groups

Sponsored by the PCICS Research Committee, the Research and Improvement Science Excellence (RAISE) Groups are designed to bring together nursing and physician scientists who share common interests in advancing pediatric cardiac intensive care. Each group focuses on a distinct topic area, fostering dialogue around current research, quality improvement efforts, and future investigative directions.

RAISE Groups offer a collaborative space for both seasoned researchers and those seeking mentorship—encouraging connection, idea exchange, and innovation across institutions and disciplines.

Current Focus Areas:

  • Acute Kidney Injury (AKI)
  • Cardiogenic Shock
  • Informatics
  • Nutrition in the CICU
