Program Committee Update

The PCICS program committee continues its diligent work to plan the in-person PCICS Annual Meeting in December in Miami! The program has been finalized and almost all invited speakers have been confirmed. The meeting website is live, registration is open, and abstract submissions are being received!
The committee has designed an exciting multidisciplinary program that focuses on clinical and research innovations within the field of pediatric cardiac critical care. Below are some highlighted themes to be presented by our esteemed, invited faculty.
Preconference sessions
o Bedside Nursing, Advanced Practice Provider and Fellow Bootcamp
o Cardiac ECMO Nuts and Bolts
o Nutritional Support: New Approaches to Old Problems
Plenary Sessions
o Centers of Excellence, Regionalization, and Transparency
o The Experienced Bedside Nurse: Rescuing an Endangered Species
o Innovation, Translation and Collaboration: Recent Advances and Scientific Work from PCICS
Numerous breakout sessions will address other hot topics in our field. This year’s meeting will once again feature multiple oral abstract presentation sessions as the footprint of PCICS continues to grow in the research landscape.
The closing session on Sunday will explore our understanding of how our teams make complex decisions with case-based discussions, audience participation, and a simulated surgical management conference.
Be sure to tell your colleagues and team members, check out the program, register for the meeting and preconferences and submit your abstracts! All information can be found on the meeting website: https://www.eventscribe.net/2022/PCICS/
