Exciting News
The research committee will present an exciting inaugural plenary session titled, Innovation, Translation and Collaboration: Recent Advances in the Field and Scientific Work from PCICS at the PCICS 2022 Annual Meeting. The scientific committee recognizes the uniqueness of our specialty and seeks to support the PCICS strategic vision to “advance the art and science of healing through education and inquiry”. Brad Marino will kick off the session describing the early stages of the research committee and its goals in an appropriately titled session, The Importance of PCICS leading the Science. The sub-committee’s chairs of CoRe PCICS, Scientific Innovation and the White Paper committee will describe how they seek to achieve their objectives to contribute to the science of pediatric cardiac intensive care though collaboration, envisioning the future and dissemination. Each subcommittee will also present recently completed research. This interdisciplinary session will feature the important contributions that are possible though collaboration and support of PCICS.
