Research Committee Update

interior-hero

The Scientific Innovations sub-committee of the PCICS Research Committee would like to announce an exciting opportunity launching this summer. We are hoping to foster communication and collaboration between investigators with similar research and quality improvement interests. This includes an opportunity to network with colleagues working in similar areas and an ability to connect with mentors in these areas. We hope these groups will meet several times per year and generate ideas for future research and possibly collaborative multi-center efforts. These groups will be called Research and Improvement Science Excellence (RAISE) groups.

We will be announcing the first meeting times later this summer. Our first areas of interest will include: Neurodevelopmental Outcomes, Acute Kidney Injury, Nutrition in the CICU, and Information Technology. We look forward to some lively and productive discussions.

If interested in being contacted for information on any of the RAISE groups first meetings, please email jpenk@luriechildrens.org.
