Volunteering
PCICS’s committees seek volunteers representing various centers, global regions, and a diversity of gender, race, discipline, and experience. Click here for more information about PCICS committees.
Why volunteer?
- Enhance your CV
- Increase your credibility and reputation
- Collaborate with colleagues
- Develop new working relationships and friendships
An annual call for Committee Volunteer Applications occurs in the fall each year. You must be an active PCICS member in-good-standing to be considered for a committee position. PCICS leadership will review all applications and notify applicants of results early the following year.
Request for Volunteer Recognition Letter
If you serve on a PCICS Committee, Special Interest Group (SIG), or governing body of the Society and want your institution to know about your hard work and volunteerism, you may request a letter once annually to be sent to your institution's leadership acknowledging your hard work and volunteerism in PCICS.
Your contributions to PCICS will be reviewed and validated, then the letter of recognition will be signed by PCICS leadership and sent to the relevant individual at your institution within 8 - 12 weeks of receiving this completed form.
